Domainmonger is a long-established American domain registrar and web hosting provider active since 2000. The business has historically operated through Central Registrar, Inc. DBA Domainmonger.com, with Ray Linford associated with the company’s earlier registrar operations.

The company follows a traditional hosting model centered on domain registration, Linux shared hosting, reseller hosting, business email, managed DNS, and SSL certificates. Its portfolio is designed mainly for personal websites, small businesses, associations, and resellers that prefer conventional account-based hosting rather than configurable cloud infrastructure.

The shared hosting range begins with Basic Hosting and continues through Lite, Bronze, Silver, Gold, and Gold+. Current allocations range from 1 GB of storage and 40 GB of monthly data transfer to 60 GB of storage and 600 GB of monthly transfer. The larger packages add more email accounts and support for multiple hosted domains.

Basic Hosting currently includes no email accounts, while Lite provides 10 mailboxes. The larger packages increase the allowance to as many as 90 accounts. Some older figures remain visible in the main sales content, so the resources and prices shown during checkout are the ones that apply to a new order.

Reseller hosting supports approximately 10 to 50 hosted domains, depending on the selected package. Storage ranges from 30 GB to 100 GB, while monthly data transfer reaches 1,775 GB on the largest plan. These are conventional reseller accounts rather than virtual private servers, making them easier to manage but less flexible than a VPS with root access.

Hosting packages use LiteSpeed Web Server and include Softaculous application installation, WordPress support, FTP access, databases, webmail, spam-management tools, and automated daily backups. Softaculous provides access to more than 150 applications, including WordPress, Magento, Drupal, and Laravel.

The separate Email Hosting range is suitable for customers who need professional mailboxes without purchasing a full website-hosting package. Personal Email includes three accounts and 3 GB of storage, Deluxe Email includes ten accounts and 10 GB, and Business Email includes thirty accounts with 30 GB. POP3, IMAP, SMTP, webmail, and browser-based account administration are supported.

Domain registration covers a broad collection of generic and country-code extensions. Available choices include familiar extensions such as .com, .net, .org, .co, .us, .ca, .uk, .io, and .tv, together with many newer domain extensions. Registration, transfer, and renewal prices vary by extension.

Additional services include DNSPlus, which provides separately managed DNS hosting, and SSL certificates from RapidSSL, Sectigo, and GeoTrust. Certificate options include standard domain-validation products, wildcard certificates, extended-validation certificates, and multi-domain EV coverage.

The sales website is available in English, with products priced in US dollars. The hosting control panel supports English, Portuguese, French, Dutch, Norwegian, Spanish, German, Russian, Ukrainian, and Bulgarian.

Domainmonger previously operated as an ICANN-accredited registrar through Central Registrar, Inc. That accreditation ended in March 2013, and the affected generic-domain registrations were transferred through ICANN’s bulk-transfer process. Domain registrations are still available, although customers may wish to check the sponsoring registrar displayed during checkout or in the domain’s WHOIS record.

The website retains a distinctly older design, with dense comparison tables, fixed-width layouts, legacy documentation, and some differences between informational pages and the current ordering system.
