dom.BG is an established Bulgarian domain-registration and shared-hosting provider with activity going back to 2001. The current legal operator is DOM.BG BULGARIA Ltd. / ДОМ.БГ БЪЛГАРИЯ ЕООД, incorporated in 2012, with EIK 201898265 and VAT number BG201898265. The service itself predates the current legal entity, with its historical activity beginning around 2000-2001.

The company concentrates on domain registration, shared web hosting, SSL certificates, reseller services and DNS-related services. Its domain portfolio covers major generic extensions such as COM, NET, ORG, INFO and BIZ together with EU, US, DE, TV and numerous country-code extensions. Depending on registry rules, domains can be registered for periods extending to several years, while bulk registrations, transfers, renewals and online administration are also supported.

Domain customers receive DNS hosting, URL forwarding and email forwarding without an additional recurring fee. A domain registration can also include one month of free OK shared hosting, making it possible to start a basic website without immediately committing to a longer hosting subscription.

Shared hosting is organized around the OK, Plus, Extra and Pro packages. These are conventional PHP, Perl and MySQL hosting accounts with FTP access, POP3/SMTP email, webmail, CGI, SSI, database administration, traffic statistics and an online file manager.

Storage allocations progress from 1 GB on OK to 2 GB on Plus, 5 GB on Extra and 30 GB on Pro. Included traffic ranges from 5 GB to 50 GB depending on the package. Account limits increase accordingly, with entry-level hosting starting at 10 subdomains, 10 mailboxes and one MySQL database, while the Pro package reaches 100 subdomains, 500 mailboxes and 200 databases.

The more advanced packages add functions such as mailing lists, cron jobs, customer-controlled backups and additional server-management options. The highest-tier package includes SSH access, SSL hosting, anonymous FTP and a dedicated IP address.

An important part of the hosting service is daily external backup. Website files, databases and mailboxes are backed up every day, with recovery points maintained for 15 days. Customers can therefore restore data from a selected previous day, while some packages also allow separate backups to be created directly from the hosting account.

The service remains focused on traditional shared hosting. VPS, public cloud and dedicated-server products are not part of the current product range, and there is no separate Windows or ASP.NET hosting line.

SSL certificates are available through several packages, including Fast SSL, Fast SSL+, BusinessID and BusinessID+. BusinessID+ covers wildcard-style use for multiple subdomains. This part of the catalog retains older SSL terminology and pricing structures, so customers with current TLS requirements should confirm the exact certificate specification before ordering.
