📄 Editorial Review

DLX A/S is a Danish hosting, IT operations, and infrastructure provider based in Herning, Denmark. Founded in 2005, the company has a clear local-business profile, focused on IT infrastructure, data processing, hosting, and related technical services. DLX is not a large mass-market hosting brand; they are better understood as a smaller Danish infrastructure company with direct technical involvement and their own hosting environment.

Their service portfolio covers web hosting, domain services, DNS administration, email hosting, VPS / virtual servers, dedicated server hosting, colocation / rack hosting, online backup, hosted desktop, Office 365, outsourcing, IT consulting, VPN / firewall administration, and business telephony / Cloud PBX. This makes DLX more suitable for Danish business customers that need several IT services from one local provider, not only a simple website hosting plan.

Their webhotel service runs on a FreeBSD-based platform and includes PHP, MySQL, FTP access, email accounts, webmail, spam and virus filtering, HTTP statistics, DNS administration, daily backup, free traffic, and 24/7/365 monitoring. The shared hosting line starts with a free DNS option and moves through several web hosting packages with more web space, mail space, MySQL databases, and supported websites.

For customers with higher technical needs, DLX offers dedicated server hosting, leased server hardware, customer-owned hardware hosting, and VMware-based VPS. The VPS service is flexible, with CPU cores, RAM, and disk capacity adjustable according to customer needs. VPS customers also benefit from daily backup, phone/email support access, and continuous monitoring.

A major strength is their own data center in Herning, which gives DLX a stronger infrastructure profile than a typical reseller-style hosting company. Danish companies that prefer local data location, direct communication, and infrastructure hosted inside Denmark will find this especially relevant.

The website is available in Danish and does not offer a full English version. The design is practical but old-style compared with modern international hosting brands, using a traditional layout rather than a polished cloud/SaaS presentation. For Danish business users this is still workable, but international visitors may find the website less accessible.
