Discount Domains operates within the Freeparking group. Freeparking’s New Zealand operations became part of Web.com Group following the acquisition of Dreamscape Networks’ New Zealand business in November 2020, and the wider organization now sits within Newfold Digital (newfold.com). This corporate structure gives Discount Domains access to the resources of a much larger international hosting group while maintaining products tailored to the New Zealand market.

The service range includes domain registration, domain transfers, shared web hosting, business email, SSL certificates, domain parking, domain forwarding, a website builder and search-engine optimization services. The company does not concentrate on complex infrastructure products such as VPS, dedicated servers or colocation. Domain registration is one of its principal services. Customers can register New Zealand extensions including .nz, .co.nz, .kiwi.nz and .org.nz, together with international extensions such as .com. Domain accounts include parking, forwarding and centralized management through the customer portal.
