📄 Editorial Review

Digival.es is a long-established Spanish Internet services company with a history dating back to 1997. The business is operated by Digital Valladolid, S.L., CIF B-47402284, from Valladolid, Spain. Over nearly three decades, Digival has expanded from domains, hosting and email into a broader portfolio covering Shared Hosting, WordPress Hosting, VPS, Reseller Hosting, Domains, SSL Certificates, Professional Email, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft 365, Web Design, E-commerce and SEO.

The company serves businesses, professionals, institutions and organizations that prefer a Spanish provider able to combine infrastructure services with web development and online marketing. Alberto Vázquez has been associated with Digival as CEO and Project Manager, while the company falls within the 11–50 employees range.

Digival also has a long track record in the Spanish Internet industry. In 2001, it obtained AENOR certification for Good Practices in Electronic Commerce following the corresponding audit process. It also operates as an accredited registrar for .ES domains through RED.ES and an authorized registrar for .EU domains through EURid. For various generic and territorial extensions, domain registration is handled through the corresponding accredited registrar infrastructure.

The main SSD NVMe Shared Hosting range consists of Plan 5, Plan 10 and Plan 25. The plans provide 5 GB, 10 GB and 25 GB of storage respectively, together with 200 GB, 400 GB and 800 GB of monthly data transfer. They include unlimited POP3/IMAP mailboxes, FTP accounts and MySQL databases, Spanish IP addresses, free Let's Encrypt SSL certificates and Plesk Obsidian 18.

The hosting environment supports PHP versions from 7.4 through 8.4, PostgreSQL, Node.js, mod_rewrite, Cron jobs, DNS administration and browser-based file management. Security protection includes malware scanning, Imunify360 and an advanced web application firewall. Customers can create backups manually or schedule them through the hosting control panel, while Premium Backup is available when additional protection is required.

WordPress SSD NVMe Hosting follows the same 5 GB, 10 GB and 25 GB storage structure but adds LiteSpeed and Plesk WordPress Toolkit. WordPress installations, themes, plugins, updates, cloning, maintenance mode, security settings and backup restoration can all be managed directly from the hosting interface. Free website migration is available for new compatible accounts, making these plans more practical for customers transferring an existing WordPress site.

For customers requiring dedicated virtual resources, VPS Cloud NVMe starts with VPS Cloud 50, providing 1 vCore, 2 GB RAM and 50 GB NVMe storage. VPS Cloud 100 increases this to 2 vCores, 4 GB RAM and 100 GB NVMe, while VPS Cloud 200 includes 4 vCores, 8 GB RAM and 200 GB NVMe.

VPS traffic is unlimited, with support for up to 15 domains on VPS Cloud 50, 30 domains on VPS Cloud 100 and unlimited domains on VPS Cloud 200. Plesk Obsidian 18, Premium Backup, SSL, email services, antivirus, antispam and a Spanish IP address are included. CPU and RAM allocations are guaranteed, and complete VPS backups are retained for the previous 7 days. Activation normally takes less than 24 hours when resources are available, while customers requiring deeper server administration can request root access.

A Multi-domain / Reseller Hosting service is also available for developers, agencies and hosting resellers. Resources can be divided between customer domains, individual control-panel and FTP credentials can be created, custom DNS can be used and downstream services can operate without Digival branding. The current reseller information does not contain a complete tariff table, so current resource allocations and pricing need to be confirmed before ordering.

Domain registration remains an important part of the business. Digival handles traditional extensions such as .COM, .NET and .ORG together with .ES, .EU and numerous newer domain extensions. DNS administration, redirects, renewals and transfers can be managed through the customer area. Current examples include .COM at €15, .NET at €15, .ORG at €7.50 and .PRO at €9.95, although registration, renewal and transfer rules vary by extension.

For SSL protection, SSL One covers the main host name, while SSL Plus extends protection to additional associated services according to the selected configuration. Installation, maintenance, renewal and technical assistance are included with these commercial certificate services. Standard hosting customers can already use free Let's Encrypt certificates, so paid SSL products are more suitable when managed certificate administration is preferred.

Email services are particularly extensive. Professional Email is available with 1 GB, 2 GB and 5 GB mailbox capacities and includes webmail, POP3/IMAP4, antivirus, antispam, aliases, redirects, autoresponders and filtering controls. Email data is hosted in Spain and carries a 99.9% uptime guarantee together with 24/7 Spanish-language technical support.

Exchange 365 provides a 50 GB Microsoft Exchange mailbox with Outlook web and mobile access, calendars, contacts, SSL/TLS, antivirus, antispam and 30-day email backups. Microsoft 365 adds Exchange, 1 TB OneDrive storage and Microsoft Office services. Microsoft 365 Basic provides browser-based Office applications, while Microsoft 365 Standard adds desktop Office applications, Outlook, Teams and installation on multiple devices.

Digival also provides Web Design for responsive corporate websites and WordPress projects, E-commerce development with online store management and payment-gateway integration, and SEO services covering technical audits, keyword analysis, competitor research, on-page optimization, link development, online reputation and conversion improvement.

The website and customer-facing services are primarily in Spanish, and no English-language version exists. Products are sold in EUR. The website works adequately on modern desktop and mobile devices, although several older promotional elements remain alongside the newer product information.
