DigiCert is an American SSL provider that was founded in 2003. They are one of the top-notch SSL providers on the industry market. In 2017, DigiCert acquired Symantec – together with brands like GeoTrust, Thawte, RapidSSL (part of GeoTrust) and Verisign.

DigiCert offers a whole range of SSL certificates indicated for websites run by individuals or companies. All certificates include 256-bit encryption, unlimited server licensing, support provided for 2048-bit key encryption as well as free reissues and replacement.

They offer the unlimited option to secure unlimited subdomains with the multi-domain option included in the plans. The good news is that their certificates are compatible with all the popular browsers. As additional cost, you can opt for wildcard SAN that is available (up to 5 SANs).
