📄 Editorial Review

ConnectReseller is a domain-registration and reseller platform focused on businesses that want to sell domains and related services under their own brand. The platform operates closely with OwnRegistrar (ownregistrar.com), an ICANN-accredited registrar with IANA Registrar ID 1250, and has developed primarily around wholesale domain management rather than conventional web hosting.

ConnectReseller has operated as a dedicated reseller platform since 2017. The wider business is associated with founders Hiren Shah and Ashish Shah, while operations extend across the United States, India and the United Arab Emirates. The legal structure includes OwnRegistrar Inc. in the United States, Own Web Solution Pvt Ltd in India and OR Solutions FZ-LLC in the UAE.

An important corporate development took place in 2024, when ConnectReseller became part of Vertoz (vertoz.com) through a strategic merger involving the CloudTech business. At that stage, the platform had approximately 13,000 resellers and managed more than 2 million domains. In April 2024, it also received the domain portfolio previously managed by de-accredited AsiaRegister following an ICANN-directed transition.

The main services cover Domain Registration, Domain Transfers, Domain Renewals, Domain Restoration, Domain Reselling, WHOIS, DNS management, Privacy Protection and SSL Certificates. The company is therefore much closer to a wholesale registrar platform than a conventional hosting provider offering shared hosting, VPS or dedicated servers.

The reseller system is designed for hosting companies, web agencies, domain sellers and other businesses that want to offer domains under their own branding. Accounts include white-label capabilities, bulk operations, customer management, reporting and API automation. Signup for the reseller platform is free, with separate account environments for India and the global market.

One of ConnectReseller's strongest areas is its broad domain catalog. Hundreds of generic and country-code extensions are available, with separate prices for registration, renewal, transfer and restoration. Extension-specific information also covers operational details such as grace periods, restore periods, privacy availability, IDN support, IPv6 and DNSSEC.

Pricing is divided into reseller tiers, allowing higher-volume accounts to receive lower wholesale rates. An additional Elite Plan provides preferential domain and SSL pricing together with early access to promotions, reseller marketing resources and loyalty benefits.

SSL certificates form an important secondary product line. Certificates are available from Certum and Sectigo, including DV, OV, wildcard and multi-domain products. This makes it possible for resellers to bundle certificates together with domain registrations rather than maintaining a separate SSL supplier.

Automation is another major strength. ConnectReseller provides its own management panel together with an API supporting more than 300 commands. Integrations are available for WHMCS, UpMind and Blesta, allowing established hosting and domain businesses to incorporate ConnectReseller services into their existing billing and provisioning workflows.

The All Registrar functionality can also consolidate domains from supported third-party registrar accounts into a common management environment. Integrations include providers such as LogicBoxes and ResellerClub, which is useful for businesses that already manage domains across several wholesale platforms.

The website and reseller environment are primarily available in English. Global pricing is mainly expressed in US dollars (USD), while Indian customers also have access to local payment channels and INR transactions.
