*📜 Plan description

This is the largest priced example visible in the configuration cards, with 192 GB of ECC RAM, 48 vCores and 100 GB of enterprise SSD NVMe storage using triple replication. The public rate is 0.506 EUR per hour. A 30-day month equals 364.32 EUR, while the published monthly maximum is 370 EUR; the lower calculated value is used for the plan price. The configuration includes 4 TB of monthly transfer and one fixed dedicated public IPv4 address. Its very large memory allocation and 48-core processor profile are intended for demanding application tiers, extensive parallel processing, high-capacity databases, virtualization-related workloads, large container clusters or other resource-heavy services. Storage can be expanded independently when 100 GB is insufficient, and the platform still permits CPU and RAM changes through the same cloud control panel. Linux remains the lowest-cost operating-system choice, while Windows can be selected with the required processor licensing included in the recalculated total.

The Clouding platform is a flexible pay-as-you-go cloud environment rather than a fixed-term VPS package. A server can be created in about 30 seconds, resized whenever requirements change, archived when CPU and RAM are no longer needed, restored later with its data intact, or deleted without a long commitment. Billing follows the time during which the server exists, using hourly rates and monthly invoicing, with no monthly minimum. Archiving stops CPU and RAM charges while storage remains billable. Each server includes 4 TB of monthly data transfer; additional traffic costs 0.004 EUR per GB or 4 EUR per TB. One fixed public IPv4 address is assigned exclusively to the server until it is deleted.
The infrastructure uses KVM virtualization on an OpenStack-based cloud platform. Enterprise SSD NVMe storage is kept in a triple-replica Ceph cluster, while ECC RAM, data-center processors, continuous monitoring and redundant platform components reduce the risk of a single hardware failure. The Barcelona platform operates from a Tier IV data center in Spain, follows ISO 27001 security practices and uses renewable energy. Connectivity is covered by a 99.95% availability SLA, with service credits determined by the measured connectivity availability and the applicable claim procedure. Network features include an 80 Gbps Cisco environment, low-latency multi-provider connectivity, Anti-DDoS protection, a configurable firewall, private dedicated VLAN networking and an emergency console.
Linux and Windows server images are available with root or administrator access. Linux has no additional operating-system license charge in the base calculator, while Windows can be selected with the corresponding processor license included in the resulting configuration price. Preinstalled software and control-panel images include options such as Plesk, HestiaCP, WordPress, Docker, Magento, PrestaShop and other applications; commercial licenses that are not part of the base server may be purchased separately. Snapshots, cloning and isolated scheduled backups can be activated when required, although customer-accessible backups are not included by default. The API can automate server creation, resizing, archiving, snapshots, backups and firewall rules.
The underlying service is self-managed, while Clouding support answers infrastructure and software questions 24 hours a day throughout the year by email and ticket. Telephone assistance is available on business days, and paid Cloud Pros engineering can perform installations, optimization, security work and complex deployments. Payments support credit card and PayPal, with bank transfer assessed for suitable account volumes. The listed prices exclude taxes; the standard Spanish VAT rate is 21% when applicable. There is no setup fee, and new accounts receive 5 EUR of starting balance.

📄 Editorial Review

Clouding is a privately owned Spanish cloud infrastructure provider incorporated in 2014, with its public cloud platform operating since January 2016. The company is headquartered in Barcelona and is led by co-founder and CEO Xavier Trilla. Its team is estimated at between 11 and 50 employees, while the platform has served more than 6,500 customers and created over 180,000 cloud servers.

The service is focused on configurable Cloud VPS and Infrastructure as a Service, rather than conventional shared hosting. Customers can create Linux or Windows virtual machines and select the required number of vCores, RAM, and NVMe storage. Resources can be increased later without migrating to a different server package, and new instances are normally deployed in less than 30 seconds.

Clouding provides a practical collection of server-management tools inside the same platform. Virtual machines can be resized, cloned through snapshots, protected with scheduled backups, connected through private networks, filtered through cloud firewalls, or archived when they are temporarily unnecessary.

The archive function is especially useful for development systems, seasonal projects, testing environments, and servers that only need to be used occasionally. Archiving stops CPU and RAM charges while preserving the server disks and configuration, allowing the instance to be restored later without rebuilding it from the beginning.

The infrastructure uses KVM virtualization, OpenStack orchestration, enterprise NVMe storage, ECC memory, and distributed Ceph storage. Server data is replicated across several physical systems, with three copies maintained to reduce the risk associated with individual disk or storage-node failures.

Every virtual server includes a fixed public IPv4 address, emergency console access, monitoring, configurable firewall rules, private networking, and Anti-DDoS protection. Customers receive root or administrator access and remain responsible for the operating system and installed applications unless they purchase additional engineering assistance.

Available operating systems include AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, Debian, Ubuntu, CentOS Stream, Alpine Linux, Arch Linux, FreeBSD, and several versions of Windows Server. Clouding also provides ready-to-use application templates for WordPress, PrestaShop, Magento, Ghost, Odoo, Docker, LAMP, LEMP, pfSense, WireGuard, and several web-hosting control panels.

An API is available for infrastructure automation. It can be used to create and resize servers, manage backups and snapshots, configure firewalls, archive machines, and integrate cloud resources into automated deployment systems. This makes the service suitable for developers, agencies, software companies, managed service providers, SaaS platforms, staging systems, and custom business applications.

Clouding is not a conventional all-in-one hosting provider. Domain registration, managed email hosting, third-party SSL certificates, and commercial control-panel licenses generally need to be obtained separately. Physical dedicated servers and conventional reseller hosting packages are also outside its main product range.

The website, customer interface, and technical documentation are available in English, Spanish, and Catalan. Prices are displayed in euros, and the interface has a modern responsive layout suitable for both desktop and mobile use.
