Cloud4Y is a Russian cloud and data-center provider founded in 2009. The company was created by Nikolay Fokin, who remains associated with the business as its founder and chief executive. Services are operated by LLC Flex, which has managed the Cloud4Y brand since December 2015. The company serves more than 2,000 customers and has developed from a domestic cloud platform into an international infrastructure provider with locations in Russia, Germany, the Netherlands, and Turkey.

Cloud4Y is considerably broader than a conventional web hosting company. Its main business is Infrastructure as a Service, allowing customers to build virtual servers with individually selected CPU, RAM, storage, operating systems, network capacity, backups, and software licenses. Resources can be increased or reduced when needed, making the platform suitable for changing workloads, seasonal projects, development environments, and corporate applications.

Virtual infrastructure is available for both Linux and Windows. The catalog includes cloud servers, VPS and VDS configurations, Ubuntu servers, Windows Server environments, European VPS hosting, physical dedicated servers, bare-metal systems, private clouds, hybrid infrastructure, and complete virtual data centers. API access, Terraform, command-line tools, SDK integration, and VMware Cloud Director support make the platform practical for automated deployments and DevOps workflows.

Dedicated servers provide exclusive physical hardware, operating-system installation, snapshots, backup options, VPN connectivity, DDoS protection, and integration with Cloud4Y storage and networking services. Customers can combine bare-metal equipment with virtual resources, private networks, cloud backups, and disaster-recovery systems.

Conventional virtual hosting is available for smaller websites and online stores. The hosting environment uses SSD storage and supports WordPress, Joomla, Drupal, MODX, OpenCart, and 1C-Bitrix. Plans include website management, DNS administration, domain-based email, unlimited mailboxes on selected packages, antispam filtering, antivirus scanning, unlimited traffic, DDoS mitigation, and free SSL certificates.

The storage portfolio includes S3-compatible object storage, hot and cold storage classes, archive storage, file storage, rented storage systems, SAN capacity, and corporate file sharing through Nextcloud. These services can be used independently or connected to virtual machines, backup platforms, databases, and private-cloud environments.

Database services include conventional database servers, managed Database as a Service environments, database replication, and infrastructure for demanding in-memory systems such as SAP HANA. Customers can combine compute, storage, networking, monitoring, and backup resources within the same account.

Cloud4Y has a strong business-continuity and data-protection portfolio. Cloud Backup, Backup as a Service, virtual-machine replication, geographically separated recovery sites, disaster recovery, S3 backup storage, and rented storage systems are available. Standard cloud configurations can include 14 recovery points stored in a separate facility.

MetroCluster solutions provide higher availability by distributing infrastructure across separate data centers. These environments can reach 99.99% availability and are suitable for applications that must continue operating during hardware, power, network, or facility failures.

GPU infrastructure is available for artificial intelligence, machine learning, rendering, data analysis, and other compute-intensive workloads. Customers can rent GPU servers by the hour, create rendering farms, deploy Data Science Virtual Machines, and build Hadoop or Spark clusters. Specialized platforms are also available for machine-learning models and large language models.

The GPU catalog includes professional NVIDIA hardware such as RTX 6000 Ada systems and newer RTX-series configurations. Hourly billing makes these resources more accessible for temporary projects that do not justify purchasing expensive physical equipment.

The SaaS portfolio includes hosted 1C applications, dedicated 1C servers, Microsoft 365 licensing, Microsoft Exchange mailboxes, Power BI, Bitrix24, virtual desktops, RDS environments, VMware Horizon, cloud PBX, video conferencing, IP video surveillance, Nextcloud storage, email campaign platforms, antivirus services, and antispam protection.

This combination allows a business to place servers, employee desktops, mail, collaboration tools, backups, databases, and business applications within the same cloud ecosystem. Managed migration and administration are available for companies that do not have their own technical team.

Security services cover DDoS mitigation, Web Application Firewall protection, next-generation firewalls, VMware NSX Edge security, GOST-compatible VPN connections, ViPNet gateways, DLP systems, two-factor authentication, virtual-machine encryption, vulnerability scanning, penetration testing, SSL certificates, antivirus protection, emergency server shutdown, and PCI DSS environments.

Cloud4Y also supports Russian regulatory workloads. Dedicated environments are available for personal-data processing under FZ-152, critical-information infrastructure under FZ-187, government information systems, and PCI DSS projects. Migration from another provider can be completed with temporary resources for transfer and testing. Qualifying infrastructure migrations may be handled without an additional migration charge.

Physical data-center services include colocation, individual server placement, partial or complete rack rental, dedicated equipment, private-cloud deployment, and containerized data-center rental. Cloud4Y also operates a startup program that can provide approved projects with cloud-service grants worth up to RUB 1,000,000.
