The company has operated since 2015, while its Indian legal entity, AZYM TECHNOLOGIES (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, was incorporated on September 8, 2016 in Kerala under CIN U74995KL2016OPC046785. Shafeek Kabeer is the founder and CEO.

The main headquarters is in Doha, Qatar, with additional regional operations in India, the United Arab Emirates and Oman. Azym has grown beyond conventional hosting and combines infrastructure services with business software, collaboration platforms and professional IT services. Its customer base has included several thousand organizations across the Gulf region.

The service portfolio covers Cloud Web Hosting, Managed WordPress Hosting, WooCommerce Hosting, Cloud Servers, CloudMail, Cloud ERP, domain registration and transfers, SSL Certificates, CloudSite Builder, mobile device management, email security, application-building tools and professional technical services.

Cloud Web Hosting is the main conventional hosting service. The range includes Standard, Premium, Enterprise, Enterprise Plus and Ultimate suites. The entry plan includes unlimited email accounts, web space, bandwidth, FTP accounts and MySQL databases, along with a free .com, .net or .org domain, website builder, SSL certificate and shared IPv4 address.

Higher packages gradually add Azym CloudMail, CloudAntiSpam, Managed WordPress, Managed WooCommerce, LiteSpeed Cache, CloudChat and CloudMDM. Enterprise Plus includes an application builder for iOS and Android, while Ultimate adds enterprise email archiving, a more advanced application builder, larger mailbox and database allowances, Wildcard SSL, a dedicated IPv4 address and SSD resources.

The shared hosting platform uses cPanel, CloudLinux and a cloud-oriented clustered environment. Softaculous is included for one-click application installations, while Azym CloudSite Builder is suitable for customers who want to create a website without manually installing or configuring a CMS. Daily backups, anti-spam protection, ClamAV and SSL support are included.

Managed WordPress and WooCommerce functionality is available within the higher cloud-hosting suites. These packages include LiteSpeed server-level caching and priority resources, making them more suitable for business WordPress sites and online stores than the entry-level hosting plans.

Cloud Server is the virtual-server product and is based on VMware virtualization. The platform combines physical compute servers, enterprise storage and redundant networking, while VMware High Availability can move virtual machines away from a failed physical host.

Configurations range from smaller Linux virtual machines to considerably larger Windows or Linux servers with multiple IPv4 addresses, larger storage allocations and substantial monthly traffic allowances. Daily full backups are included, and some configurations also include McAfee Cloud Antivirus.

The operating-system range has included Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CloudLinux, Fedora, OpenSUSE, FreeBSD and Windows Server editions. New Cloud Server provisioning is currently temporarily unavailable because of high demand, although server configurations remain accessible through the ordering system. Cloud Plus ERP extends Azym into complete business-management software rather than hosting alone. The platform covers accounting, inventory, CRM, sales, POS, e-commerce, projects and additional company-management functions. It runs on Google Cloud Platform and carries a 99.9% availability level.

Azym CloudMail combines hosted email with contacts, file storage, chat and collaboration. Features include IMAP migration, anti-spam filtering, message tracking, attachment management and team communication through text, audio and video. CloudMail supports English, Arabic, Spanish, Turkish, Portuguese, French and Italian.

SSL certificates are available both with hosting packages and separately. The SSL range includes conventional domain-validation certificates together with EV, SAN/multi-domain and Wildcard certificates. Installation and certificate reissue assistance are available, including installation on compatible externally hosted cPanel or Plesk accounts.

Domain registration and transfers are integrated with the hosting platform. Common extensions can be managed from the same customer account used for hosting, billing and support, with DNS and associated domain services available alongside registration.

Azym also offers Professional Service Engagement (PSE) for technical work outside normal hosting support. This is useful when customers require additional administration, configuration or project work that cannot be handled as a standard support request.

The customer management system supports a very broad selection of languages, including English, Arabic, Azerbaijani, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Persian, French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Macedonian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian.

Currency support is equally well suited to its regional customer base, with AED, SAR, QAR, KWD, OMR, BHD, USD and INR available. Customers in Qatar, the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Oman, Bahrain and India can therefore work with a familiar billing currency rather than relying exclusively on USD.

The main corporate website has an older design than the customer management system and still contains some legacy technical terminology and older operating-system references. The client area is considerably more modern and practical for purchasing products, managing domains, handling invoices and opening support requests.
