*📜 Plan description

Dell R220 is the entry dedicated server for small applications and reliable bare-metal workloads. It uses an Intel Xeon E3-1230 V3 processor with 4 cores and 8 threads, 3.3GHz base speed and up to 3.7GHz turbo, Hyper-Threading, ECC memory support, and a listed benchmark of 6829. The base memory is 16GB DDR3 ECC RAM with a 32GB upgrade path. Storage starts with a 1TB enterprise HDD, with SSD or additional HDD options available for higher performance or capacity. The server includes a 1Gbps uplink, unlimited bandwidth, Enwave Lake Ontario cooling, cPanel and Plesk availability, and management by Amanah experts. A /29 IPv4 subnet is associated with the plan, the server details specify 1 usable IPv4 address, IPv6 /64 is included, BGP announcement is available, and iDRAC7 remote management provides remote reboot, power control, BIOS-level console access, hardware monitoring, and role-based secure access. The monthly list price is $49 CAD, while annual billing reduces the effective monthly cost by 10 percent.

Dedicated servers run in downtown Toronto at 151 Front Street West with unmetered bandwidth, a 1Gbps uplink by default, and upgrade paths to higher uplink speeds depending on the model. Annual billing saves 10 percent compared with the monthly list price, monthly billing remains available, cancellation uses one calendar month of notice, and there are no long-term contracts or hidden fees. The network uses Beanfield, Cogent, Zayo, NetActuate, and TORIX, with premium routing, DDoS protection, direct TORIX peering, bandwidth monitoring, and a network uptime SLA. A secure customer portal centralizes billing, support tickets, usage, server details, IP assignments, bandwidth statistics, and configuration data. Operating system flexibility includes major Linux distributions such as Ubuntu, CentOS, and Debian, Windows Server editions, Docker-ready environments, virtualization-ready installations, and custom OS installation when required. Control panel choices can include command-line-only access, cPanel/WHM, Plesk, DirectAdmin, and other popular panels. Management options can include server monitoring, routine security updates, backup management, performance optimization, managed firewall protection, emergency assistance, hardware replacement support, setup help, and 24/7 in-house technical support. Remote administration is available through KVM or IPMI style access, and private cloud connectivity can link the dedicated server environment directly to AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, and Cloudflare for hybrid designs.

📄 Editorial Review

Amanah Tech Inc. is a Toronto-based infrastructure provider established in 2001, focused on colocation, dedicated servers, cloud servers, IP transit, cloud connectivity, remote hands, server management, and data center migration. They are not a typical low-cost shared hosting provider or domain registrar; their best fit is for customers that need physical infrastructure, Canadian data residency, dedicated hardware, private networking, and hybrid cloud connectivity.

The company started in Saskatoon in 2001 and moved to 151 Front Street West, Toronto in 2005, placing its infrastructure inside one of Canada’s most important carrier-hotel environments. Founder and CEO Nezar Freeny remains publicly associated with Amanah Tech, which gives the company a more established and founder-led profile than many generic hosting brands.

Their strongest services are built around Toronto-based infrastructure. Colocation is available from single-unit space to quarter rack, half rack, and full rack configurations. Plans include rack space, power, 1Gbps uplink, unmetered bandwidth, IPv4 allocation, Meet-Me-Room access, remote-hands availability, and upgrade paths toward 10Gbps, 25Gbps, or 100Gbps depending on the service level.

Dedicated servers are another important part of the portfolio. Amanah offers Toronto-hosted bare metal servers with unmetered bandwidth, optional cPanel and Plesk, managed-service upgrades, and configurations ranging from entry-level Dell systems to newer Dell PowerEdge hardware and clearance inventory for higher-spec needs at lower monthly prices.

Their cloud server line is closer to VPS-style infrastructure, with vCore, RAM, and SSD-based plans. This works well for businesses that want a faster deployment model but still prefer Amanah’s Toronto infrastructure rather than a hyperscale public cloud.

Amanah also serves hybrid and network-heavy environments. Cloud Connect provides private Layer 2 Ethernet access to Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, and Cloudflare through the Megaport (megaport.com) ecosystem, with speeds from 100Mbps to 10Gbps. IP Transit is available from 1Gbps to 100Gbps, with BGP routing, IPv4/IPv6 support, unmetered billing, and DDoS protection included.
