4GoodHosting is a privately held Canadian web hosting and digital-services company founded in 2002 by Michael Torner. The business operates through R629 Enterprises Ltd. from Vancouver, British Columbia, and has maintained BBB accreditation since 2006. Its long operating history gives it considerably more experience than many small independent hosting brands.

The portfolio covers Linux shared hosting, Windows shared hosting, SSD hosting, managed WordPress, Linux and Windows reseller hosting, Linux VPS, Windows VPS, SSD virtual servers, dedicated servers, domain registration, SSL certificates, website builders, website migration, web development, e-commerce development, SEO, social-media marketing and logo design. Email accounts are included with the hosting packages rather than sold as a clearly separated email-hosting service.

The standard Linux shared hosting range includes Personal Cloud, Business Cloud and Advanced Cloud packages. These plans use cPanel and include daily backups, RAID-protected storage, Softaculous, email accounts, MySQL databases and support for PHP, Perl and Python. Storage allowances range from 5 GB to unlimited, while the number of hosted domains increases from one to five. The larger packages add a free domain and access to the website builder.

Windows shared hosting is available for customers who need ASP.NET, Microsoft SQL Server, PHP or other Windows-based applications. These plans use Plesk and provide between 5 GB and 20 GB of storage, support for two to ten domains, webmail, daily backups, application installers and website-building tools. The dedicated-server range includes Intel Xeon, AMD Ryzen and AMD EPYC systems. Entry configurations start with four processor cores, 32 GB RAM and a 480 GB SSD, while larger servers provide as many as 20 cores, 64 GB RAM and unlimited bandwidth. NVMe storage, private networking, remote management, monitoring, high-availability arrangements and GPU-capable systems are also available. These servers are suitable for e-commerce platforms, SaaS products, databases, high-traffic websites and applications that must remain in Canada.

Resellers can choose between Linux reseller hosting with WHM and cPanel or Windows reseller hosting with Plesk. Both platforms support white-label operation, private nameservers and individual customer control panels. Linux reseller plans provide between 25 GB and 100 GB of storage, while Windows reseller packages support between ten and fifty hosted domains.

Domain services include new registrations, .CA domains, transfers, DNS management and forwarding. Transfers normally extend the registration by one year, and qualifying hosting terms may include a free domain for the first year. 4GoodHosting also acquires web hosting and web design companies. The acquisition program targets businesses with approximately ten to 10,000 customer accounts and includes confidential discussions protected through a nondisclosure agreement.

The website operates in English, without a complete French or other localized version. Customers can nevertheless create multilingual websites through WordPress or the website builder. Product billing is available in Canadian dollars and US dollars.

The visual design combines newer account-management tools with several older product sections. Some comparison tables remain dense, contain older software references or show specifications that differ from the current checkout configuration. The billing portal and a written sales quotation should therefore be treated as the final specification for VPS, reseller and dedicated-server orders.
