247-Host is a Canadian web hosting company established in 2004 and based in Montreal, Quebec. With more than two decades in the hosting business, the company serves personal websites, business projects, blogs, forums, online stores, resellers and customers requiring virtual or dedicated server environments. Its portfolio covers Shared Hosting, Cloud Hosting, WordPress Hosting, Reseller Hosting, Managed SSD VPS, Unmanaged VPS, Windows VPS, Dedicated Servers, domain registration and domain transfers.

The current Shared Hosting range uses DirectAdmin. Silver is intended for a single website and includes 1 CPU core, 512 MB RAM, 100,000 inodes and unlimited SSD storage and traffic. Gold increases memory and inode allowances and permits unlimited websites. Both packages include MariaDB/MySQL, multiple PHP versions, Softaculous, weekly backups, migration assistance and SSL support. Unlimited storage remains subject to normal hosting usage rules, and shared or reseller accounts exceeding 20 GB of SSD usage may be transferred to non-SSD storage.

Cloud Hosting is the more capable shared-platform option and combines cPanel, CloudLinux, LiteSpeed and NVMe storage. Beginner starts with 1 CPU, 1 GB RAM and 20 GB NVMe, while Small, Medium and Large progressively increase CPU, memory, storage and inode allocations. Higher packages add daily backups, LiteSpeed caching, priority support and a dedicated IP. Unlimited websites, SSH access, SSL and assisted cPanel migrations are available. Eligible annual and longer subscriptions can include a free domain registration for the first year for selected extensions including .com, .net, .org, .ca, .us, .xyz, .club and .click.

The WordPress Hosting line combines cPanel with NVMe/SSD storage, LiteSpeed, CloudLinux, SSH access, automatic SSL and WordPress-oriented management tools. Integration with Cloudflare CDN is available for WordPress customers. Hosting options for Joomla, Magento, Drupal, PrestaShop, phpBB and other popular applications use much of the same underlying cloud hosting environment.

For customers running their own hosting business, Reseller Hosting provides cPanel accounts managed through WHM. Current packages support between 20 and 100 cPanel accounts and start with 60 GB SSD storage. Private nameservers, backups, LiteSpeed and CloudLinux are included. Domain reselling is available through ENOM, while Clientexec or WHMCS can be added for an extra charge. This makes the reseller platform suitable for designers, developers and small hosting businesses that need separate customer accounts rather than a conventional multi-domain shared package.

The VPS range is extensive. Managed SSD VPS includes operating-system updates, security patching, firewall and DDoS configuration, cPanel/WHM maintenance and migration assistance. Unmanaged VPS is aimed at experienced administrators who prefer root-level control and supports Linux distributions including Ubuntu, Debian, CentOS, Fedora and OpenSUSE. SolusVM handles virtual-server administration, while a conventional hosting control panel is not included by default with unmanaged packages.

Windows VPS uses KVM virtualization, RDP access and SolusVM. Several packages also include WebSitePanel and management services. Some Windows VPS specifications still reference Windows Server 2012, so customers requiring Microsoft hosting should confirm the currently available and supported Windows Server edition before ordering.

At the higher end, Dedicated Servers use Xeon processors, SSD or NVMe storage, secondary drives, monthly traffic allocations and cPanel. Hardware ranges from older E3-class processors to substantially more powerful E-2286 and E5-1660 v4 configurations with up to 128 GB RAM. These plans are primarily managed dedicated-server products rather than completely unmanaged bare-metal systems.

Domain registration and domain transfers are available through the customer portal, while automatic SSL provisioning is included with several hosting categories. Free website migration is another useful benefit. Complimentary migration can be requested during the first 45 days after signup, although unusually complex or technically incompatible transfers may require additional work.

Localization is particularly extensive inside the customer portal. English is supported together with Arabic, Azerbaijani, Catalan, Chinese, Croatian, Czech, Danish, Dutch, Estonian, Persian, French, German, Hebrew, Hungarian, Italian, Macedonian, Norwegian, Portuguese, Romanian, Russian, Spanish, Swedish, Turkish and Ukrainian. Billing can also be displayed in numerous currencies, including USD, CAD, EUR, GBP, CHF, AUD, NZD, MYR, SAR, TRY, SEK, SGD, INR, PHP, JPY and IDR.

The long operating history has resulted in a mixture of newer and legacy information across different service areas. Some older specifications remain alongside current products, and several prices or guarantees differ between sections. The customer ordering system should therefore be checked carefully for the final billing term, control panel, operating system, server configuration and included resources before completing a purchase.
