22.cn, widely known in China as Aiming (爱名网), is a domain registrar, hosting provider and online business-services platform operated by Zhejiang Erer Network Co., Ltd. The 22 Technology Group was established in 2008, while parts of its corporate history extend back to an earlier internet-services business founded in 1998. The company is headquartered in Hangzhou and holds both ICANN and CNNIC registrar authorization.

Domain services form the core of the business. The platform has managed more than 10 million domain registrations for over one million customers, covering new registrations, renewals, transfers, expired-domain reservations, auctions, brokerage, escrow transactions and assisted domain acquisitions. Its registrar credentials include several CNNIC five-star recognitions and national top-level domain registrar certificates.

The product range extends well beyond domain registration. Customers can purchase mainland Chinese virtual hosting, Hong Kong virtual hosting, elastic cloud servers, DNS services, SSL certificates, website-building packages, trademark registration, intellectual-property services, enterprise SaaS products and reseller APIs. This combination is especially practical for Chinese businesses that want to manage domains, hosting, websites and commercial registrations through one account.

Mainland virtual hosting is available with either a shared IP address or an independent IP address. The Economy 2G package includes 2 GB of website storage, unlimited monthly traffic, a 100 MB database and a shared IP address from approximately CNY 109 per year. The Premium 2G plan includes 2 GB of storage, a 500 MB database and an independent IP address from approximately CNY 259 per year. The Professional 4G option increases storage to 4 GB while retaining a 500 MB database and an independent IP address, with pricing around CNY 468 per year.

These virtual-hosting plans support PHP, ASP and .NET, together with MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server databases. Automatic database backups, scripting-environment switching and protection against DDoS attacks, CC attacks and script injection are included. Domains normally need to be registered through 22.cn before they can be connected to mainland hosting accounts.

A mid-range server with two CPUs, 4 GB of RAM, 3 Mbps of bandwidth and 50 GB of storage costs approximately CNY 472 per month. A larger configuration with four CPUs, 8 GB of RAM, 5 Mbps of bandwidth and 200 GB of storage costs approximately CNY 1,268 per month.

Cloud servers can normally be deployed within several minutes and managed through the online customer account. SSD capacity can be expanded from approximately 10 GB to 1 TB, while available bandwidth and protection levels depend on the selected region. The current portfolio focuses on virtualized cloud infrastructure rather than a separately defined bare-metal dedicated-server service.

Website-building services cover basic company websites, larger portal-style projects, online stores and mini-program development. Self-service website-builder subscriptions generally begin around CNY 300 to CNY 350 per year. More complete design and implementation packages start at several thousand yuan. Logo creation, multilingual content, custom images, product updates, SEO assistance and customer-service integrations can be added separately.

The SSL certificate range includes DV, OV and EV certificates for individual domains, multiple domains and wildcard deployments. Basic DV certificates begin at approximately CNY 188 to CNY 190 per year, while organization-validated and extended-validation certificates cost significantly more. Paid certificate-installation assistance is also available.

The service is designed primarily for the Chinese domestic market. The interface uses Simplified Chinese, and product prices are displayed in Chinese yuan (CNY/RMB). An English-language version does not exist, making the service less convenient for international customers who cannot work comfortably in Chinese.

The main portal remains active and regularly updated, although several cloud and virtual-hosting areas retain an older visual style. Some documentation still refers to Windows Server 2012 R2, while package descriptions and promotional prices are not always consistent between different product sections.
