000WebHost was one of the most recognizable names in the free hosting segment for many years. Back when the brand was active, it built a strong reputation around simple entry-level hosting for beginners, personal websites, student projects, and small online experiments. The company operated under the broader Hostinger ecosystem and was especially appealing to users who wanted to get online quickly without paying from day one.

The offer stayed focused on shared hosting and later also included a website builder. That narrow focus was actually part of its appeal. Instead of trying to cover every possible hosting category, they concentrated on lightweight website hosting with easy tools, basic automation, and a low barrier to entry.

Their shared hosting line was built around three levels: Free, Single, and Premium. The free plan was the main reason the brand became so popular. It included a surprisingly useful set of features for a no-cost service, such as FTP access, MySQL databases, PHP support, cron jobs, instant backups, WordPress auto-installer, and a built-in website builder. For beginners, that was more than enough to test ideas, learn website management, or run a small project.

The paid plans were more practical for users who wanted better stability and fewer restrictions. The Single plan added automatic script installation, weekly backups, standard processing power and memory, WordPress-optimized speed, and email accounts. The Premium plan pushed things further with stronger processing resources, more auto-installer scripts, and a much broader unlimited-style package, including unlimited bandwidth, websites, MySQL databases, FTP users, subdomains, and parked domains. It also included unlimited email accounts, which made it the more complete plan for users running multiple sites.
