Oct, 2003 : LS HOST Launches php-Powered Message Forums

📅 October 23, 2003 - LS Host (lshost.com -> hostinger.com), a Web hosting provider based in Connecticut, launched three Web hosting plans this week that include development capabilities for php-powered message forums. The forum hosting plans come with standard hosting features, including Web-based e-mail, mySQL database, and are php-based.

According to the company, all forum hosting plans come with free message board setup.
"LS Host has achieved a genuine connection with our customers ? they consistently supply invaluable feedback," said Dan Merton, partner and co-founder of LS Host. "The need for 'turn-key' phpBB hosting solutions was brought to our attention and we responded with competitively priced plans, packed with features. We provide customers with everything they need to launch their forums including the set-up of phpBB message boards at no charge."
The company said the forum hosting packages help customers simplify the development of Web communities on their sites. Users can create an unlimited number of forums and posts, either public or private and additional flexibility is provided via a search utility, multiple language interfaces, and a private messaging system.

📅 Feb 18, 2004 - LS Host Launches Referral Program - LS Host (lshost.com -> hostinger.com) announced on Tuesday that it has launched a referral program for its Web hosting customers. Under the program, LS Host will give referring parties a cash payment equivalent to one full month of Web hosting services based on the hosting plan the referrer is currently subscribing to. The company said there is no limit on how many referrals a customer can make and that all its hosting plans are eligible for participation in the program.
