Dec, 2003 : SoundPix Picks Digital River for Hosting

📅 December 5, 2003 - Minnesota-based e-commerce provider Digital River (digitalriver.com) said yesterday that it has signed an agreement to provide e-commerce operations for SoundPix, a software company that develops audio-imaging solutions. Under the agreement, Digital River built SoundPix's new online store and provided Web hosting, order management, digital and physical software delivery, fraud prevention screening, e-marketing services and 24x7 customer service.

"We are pleased to add SoundPix to a growing base of thousands of software publishing clients," said Joel Ronning, CEO of Digital River. "By managing and growing the online businesses of nearly 34,000 companies worldwide, we have been able to demonstrate our e-commerce expertise as well as establish ourselves as an industry leader. Because of this strong position, we continue to attract companies engaged with other service providers. We plan to aggressively implement a variety of e-commerce and e-marketing programs to help SoundPix grow its sales, increase its awareness and achieve its online business goals."
According to Digital River the site is designed to support the sales and marketing of the SoundPix Plus line of software.
"The impressive incremental revenue that Digital River has generated for its clients using its e-marketing tools and tactics influenced our decision to switch from our European-based e-commerce provider to Digital River," said Eric Severance, president and CEO of SoundPix.
