📅 July 26, 2007 - Web-based billing software provider ModernGigabyte (moderngigabyte.com), along with Web-based control and distributed systems management provider Netarus (netarus.com), announced Wednesday at HostingCon 2007 (hostingcon.com/2007) that they have developed module for the game server control panel SCInterface (games.scinterface.com) within the billing software ModernBill (modernbill.com).

The SCInterface module for ModernBill provides a complete enterprise grade platform for game server providers to fully automate their billing and game server management within a single platform. The control panel enables GSPs to monitor, manage and control any game from anywhere in the world in real time and securely through the World Wide Web.

The module will streamline the billing and management of games servers for every GSP and their customers. This integration will help GSPs automate the ordering and provisioning of game servers for their customers as soon as a customer places an order. This module will significantly reduce subscription costs and improve the level of service for a GSP's staff and customers.

ModernBill demonstrated the module at its HostingCon exhibit hall booth. David Stadler, reseller channel marketer for ModernBill, says the response from the module has been considerably positive. The module enables gaming customers to focus more time on playing and less time dealing with the "nitty gritty work everyday", he says.
