📅 February 6, 2004 - Internet services and marketing solutions provider uplinkearth (uplinkearth.com -> hostinger.com)announced today it will offer a 15 percent discount to charities, non-profit groups and students. The discount programs are called CharityLink and StudentLink.

"In these days of lower contributions, tight budgets and increasing expenses for charitable groups, we've made a commitment to help these organizations by making our services more affordable," said Michael Yablonowitz, president and CEO of uplinkearth. "Our goal is to enable these groups to use the Internet for furthering their cause without burdening them with the high monthly costs associated with Web hosting."
The first participant to enroll in uplinkearth's discount program is a private, non-profit school in a rural city in Oregon. Previously, Central Little School didn't have a Web site or a domain name. The school's new site is now live at www.centrallittleschool.com.
"In a very short period of time, the school went from using traditional recruiting methods to now using leading technology to reach out to the community," said Sonia Hall, an elementary teacher at Central Little School. "Previously, we would not have been able to afford these services."
New Jersey-based uplinkearth also services Fortune 100 companies, government agencies and small/medium-size businesses in more than 50 countries.
