📅 January 28, 2008 - Avatar technology platform SitePal (sitepal.com), and Web hosting provider uplinkearth (uplinkearth.com -> hostinger.com) announced on Monday they have formed a new partnership to offer SitePal talking avatars for all uplinkearth customers. Through the partnership, uplinkearth customers can take advantage of the award-winning marketing tool at no additional charge.

Developed by Oddcast, SitePal enables small business owners and Web masters to generate speaking, animated characters called avatars for their websites, particularly on pages where visitor conversion rates are crucial. The avatars feature either text-to-speech generated audio or are linked with a voice recording, provided by the user or created by Oddcast staff.

"Uplinkearth, with its largely small business customer base, is a company we look forward to working with for many months and years to come," says Adi Sideman, CEO of Oddcast.
