Feb 17, 2004 : Inflow to Host Data Center Roundtable

📅 - Managed hosting provider Inflow (inflow.com) will host a roundtable event for CIOs to discuss the best practices behind building and utilizing data center environments to boost returns on investment, the company announced Tuesday.

Inflow said the event will be held Tuesday from 8:00am to 10:00am mountain time at the Inflow-Phoenix Office. The event will cover the pros and cons of building a data center environment, how to use an external service provider's business model, and the methods behind designing and maintaining a 24x7 operational system or platform.
"It makes sense to leverage the best practices of external service providers, as they make it their business to streamline operations, control costs and offer exceptional service - they have to in order to stay in business," says Art Zeile, chief executive officer for Inflow. "Inflow's presentation will help today's IT executives identify the key areas to consider when making the decision to build or outsource a data center environment, and will outline how to achieve a world-class operational support system for long-term success."
Today's roundtable is the first of what the company says will be a quarterly event. Inflow operates 13 data center facilities in the United States.
"We are eager to share our lessons learned along the way to becoming an industry-leading provider," says Zeile. "Companies can benefit from leveraging our industry expertise to reach their own strategic goals."
