📅 February 17, 2004 - SurfStats Software (surfstats.com) announced on Monday that it has released version 7.1 of Log Analyzer for Windows, a Web server log tracking and reporting tool. The company said the new version features conversion tracking, providing detailed performance information that allows users to determine the return on investment of their Web sites. The solution is compatible with the Windows 98, ME, NT, 2000, 2003 and XP operating systems.

"Our Log Analyzer has come a long way. It is exhilarating to compare the progress made from the old versions, first released in 1998, with the new version of today," says Leon Calitz, development manager for SurfStats. "The new Version 7.1 extracts nearly every piece of possible useful information available from a Web server's log file and presents it as easily understandable reports with colorful three dimensional graphs and tables to the user."
According to the company, Log Analyzer 7.1 is faster and more reliable than previous versions, includes an enhanced user interface and provides more usable information on visitor activity. Version 7.1 also features an enhanced database, backup and restore abilities, automated report generation and an improved log parsing engine. Reports are available in eight European languages and three East Asian languages.
