Monica Doss is expected to provide insight and perspective on the current and future entrepreneurial situation in North Carolina during her hour-long seminar. The presentation will be held at Peak 10's data center located inthe heart of the Research Triangle.
"Through dedicated people like Monica Doss, the CED continues to play an important role in the development of entrepreneurial companies in North Carolina," said David Jones, president and chief executive officer of Peak 10. "Her work, which often goes unnoticed, has been instrumental in our growth and the growth of companies throughout the region."
Doss has served as president of CED since 1986. CED is a non-profit organization that aims to help stimulate the creation and expansion of high-growth entrepreneurial business in the Research Triangle Park region of North Carolina.
During her 18-year tenure, the CED has grown from a 125-member organization with an operating budget of $35,000, to become the largest entrepreneurial support organization in the United States, with more than 1,000 member companies, and an operating budget of $1.8 million.
