📅 March 26, 2004 - Web hosting provider NetNation (netnation.com -> hostway.com) has introduced a "Switch Program" that helps customers transfer their Web hosting services to NetNation from other Web hosts, the company announced on Thursday. Under the program, NetNation will help guide new customers through the entire transition process.

The company said the program gives customers the support and guidance they need to minimize downtime and loss of data ? two factors that make customers reluctant to switch ? during a transition to another hosting provider.
"A cornerstone of NetNation's Web hosting difference is that we provide all of our customers with 24/7 live technical support," says Jag Gillan, General Manager and Vice President of NetNation. "With our new Switch Program, we want to give new customers the opportunity to experience that superior support first hand."
NetNation has put together a dedicated transition service team called the "Rescue Squad" to assist customers through the transition process.
"This program lets people know they aren't stuck with an unsatisfactory Web host," Gillan added. "The switching process can seem daunting, but our Rescue Squad makes it simple and understandable so that people are no longerafraid to make a change and get the service they deserve."
Customers of any NetNation hosting plan are eligible for the service.
