The course, entitled "SANS Security Essentials," covers network security, incident handling, cryptography and other security fundamentals.
"SANS Security Essentials is still far and away the best, most current and comprehensive curriculum of its kind," says Jonathan Ham, a systems and security consultant who will lead the course. "Thanks to Modwest's support, the IT professionals in our community have an unprecedented and truly exceptional educational opportunity."
The SANS Institute is a cooperative research and education organization with a membership of more than 165,000 security and IT professionals.
