📅 June 2, 2004 - WebServe Canada (webserve.ca -> hostpapa.com), a privately held Canadian provider of Web hosting and online services, today launched its new Web site.

Using a new shared hosting platform, which offers new industry standards in security, performance and value, WebServe says it is also providing new, easy online tools to get customer accounts up and running faster.
New WebServe shared hosting customers now have a suite of online marketing tools available to them, enabling an increase in sales and greater access to complete site building tools.
The simplified, customizable plans start at $5.59 a month, with the signing of a 24-month hosting contract. WebServe's shared hosting platform is powered by a set of technology that includes Microsoft.NET 1.1, Windows 2003 Server, Linux Fedora Project and Miva Merchant version 4.22.

WebServe Canada says EZ Host Provider's customers will benefit from a better infrastructure, a customized control panel interface and 24-hour support. The company says it will honor current pre-payments paid to EZ Host Provider Hosting. Service fees will not increase as a result of the acquisition.
