📅 - The MSPAlliance (mspalliance.com), a global trade group for the managed services and IT outsourcing industry, and the Global Managed Service Provider Network have announced the merging of the two organizations.
The resulting organization will retain the name MSPAlliance and all existing GMN members will receive full MSPAlliance membership benefits and privileges. "The GMN has been doing a lot of important work for this industry," said Charles Weaver, president of the MSPAlliance. "The combination of our two organizations will yield a group that is strong enough to meet the challenges the future will undoubtedly bring, as well as effectively promote the benefits of the managed services business model." The new organization will comprise of nearly 200 companies worldwide with a focus on education, best practices, research, legislative lobbying, and promotion of the managed services business model.
