📅 September 9, 2004 - Web hosting automation software developer SWsoft (sw-soft.com) said on Thursday that the Plesk 7 for Windows control panel continues to gain momentum, with several hosting providers bundling the solution with their hosting offerings.

Plesk 7 for Windows was launched in July. A list of top Web hosting providers has since adopted Plesk 7 for Windows, including Rackspace (rackspace.com ), DataPipe (datapipe.com), ServerMatrix (servermatrix.com -> softlayer.com -> ibm.com), iPowerWeb (ipowerweb.com -> ipower.com), SERVER4YOU (server4you.com ), ServerBeach (serverbeach.com ), Flexservers (flexservers.com -> snel.com) and others.
Plesk 7 for Windows features native support for Microsoft technologies and includes 50 new features and enhancements, some of which are exclusive to the Windows version of Plesk. The solution is fully localized for 10 different languages, allowing resellers to work in one language while selling services in another.
"In order to grow without limits, service providers today must have a unified control panel that spans both Linux/Unix and Windows platforms," says Kurt Daniel, director of marketing, SWsoft. "Plesk gives hosting providers an unmatched ability to offer lower priced shared and dedicated server offerings that do not sacrifice reliability, functionality, support or Microsoft integration."
