📅 September 23, 2004 - Data center operator and managed service provider Peak 10 ( peak10.com) announced on Wednesday that it has implemented numerous disaster recovery and business continuity plans over the past two months for its Florida customers.

During the recent attacks of tropical storm Bonnie and hurricane Charley, in August, GunnAllen Financial successfully enacted its disaster recovery plan. Tampa-based brokerage and investment firm, GunnAllen Financial has 180 branch locations throughout the United States, with more than 900 registered reps and more than 200 support staff at its corporate headquarters.
The company moved its critical information technology infrastructure to safety inside Peak 10's data center in Tampa, Florida, and staffed a fully functioning onsite business continuity operations center at Peak 10.
"We are very impressed with GunnAllen and applaud its IT organization for taking the proper steps to secure their operation," says Debra Curtiss, vice president and general manager of Peak 10 Tampa. "Our engineers and support staff worked with the GunnAllen team to quickly implement their organization's disaster recovery plan, ensuring the availability, continuity and security of GunnAllen's business systems and corporate data."

Located approximately 20 miles south of Nashville in Williamson County, Franklin is also home to four other Peak 10 data centers. Upon completion, the new data center will offer 20,000 square feet of office and support space, and 50,000 square feet of data center space, which will be built out over time. 📅 Mar 24, 2009 - Web Host Peak 10 Houses dunnhumbyUSA - Data center operator and managed hosting provider Peak 10 (peak10.com ) announced on Tuesday it has signed an agreement where it will house retail reporting services provider dunnhumbyUSA within its Cincinnati facility.

The announcement comes off the heels of last week's opening of Peak 10's second data center in Tampa.

The 15,400 square foot data center brings the company's total Tampa data center space to more than 30,000 square feet.

According to the press release, DunnhumbyUSA "collects and stores customers' buying data to help retailers make competitive pricing decisions and enhance customer relationships and loyalty."

The completion of the 15,400 square-foot facility will bring Tampa's total data center footprint to more than 30,000 square feet.
