📅 September 23, 2004 - Antivirus solutions provider Central Command (http://www.centralcommand.com) announced on Wednesday that leading Cambodian Internet Service Provider Cogtel Limited (http://www.online.com.kh) has chosen Central Command's Vexira Antivirus to defend its email infrastructure against attack.

Cogtel, says Central Command, is the largest ISP and broadband provider in Cambodia, offering a range of Internet and network products and services. Cogtel also helped introduce wireless hotspots to the country.
Central Command says Vexira Antivirus was developed to eliminate the email virus problem, and is supported around the clock by support staff familiar with large-scale email installations. The company says Vexira scans all inbound and outbound email with heuristic virus definitions and automatic definition updates, and can send warning notifications to senders, recipients or postmasters.
"Vexira Antivirus is developed for large scale email virus scanning by ISP's and other large organizations," said Keith Peer, CEO, Central Command Inc. "Our technical support engineers understand the needs and complexity of these systems. Cogetel chose Vexira Antivirus after extensive testing and evaluation of competing products and related technical support departments."
