📅 November 17, 2004 - Arsenal Digital Solutions (arsenaldigital.com), a managed storage provider, announced on Monday that it has formed a partnership with data center operator Peak 10 (peak10.com -> flexential.com) intended to strengthen Peak 10's data protection and backup and restore services through Arsenal's ViaRemote and ViaManage offerings.

Arsenal's ViaRemote is a network-based data backup and recovery service that provides secure, bandwidth-efficient, disk-based backup and restore over the Internet or private network. This product enhances Peak 10's remote data protection service by providing fast and reliable backup data from any location over its existing network to any one of Peak 10's five secure data center facilities.
Peak 10 will also enhance its ability to monitor and manage its existing tape backup and restore services through Arsenal's ViaManage offering, which combines monitoring and reporting services with management and resolution capabilities.
"Arsenal expands our portfolio of services and strengthens our ability to meet the growing customer demand for complete data protection solutions," says David Jones, president and chief executive officer of Peak 10. The announcement comes off the heels of last week's opening of Peak 10's second data center in Tampa.
