The off-site data storage and protection service strengthens Peak 10's disaster recovery and business continuity solution for small and medium-sized businesses.

Peak 10 says its private network delivers secure, bandwidth efficient backup and restore services to small and medium-sized organizations lacking guaranteed data protection. The service enables the affordable protection and recoverability of critical business data in the event of power outages, terrorist attacks or natural disasters.
All of Peak 10's disaster recovery and business continuity solutions, including Recovery Express, the company's subscription disaster recovery service, are offered out of its data centers in Louisville, Kentucky, Charlotte and Raleigh, North Carolina, and Jacksonville and Tampa, Florida.

The announcement comes off the heels of last week's opening of Peak 10's second data center in Tampa.
