📅 - IT security provider Alert Logic (alertlogic.net) announced on Monday that remote communications solutions provider Stratos Global (stratosglobal.com) has selected the Alert Logic Threat Manager network security solution.
Stratos will integrate Alert Logic Threat Manager on customer networks operated by its Broadband Services Group to protect those networks from security threats that can evade standard perimeter and endpoint defenses.
Alert Logic's software-as-a-service platform is particularly well suited for certain Stratos networks, making deployment and ongoing security management easier, says the company. The SaaS platform delivers intrusion protection, vulnerability management and IT compliance automation that protects networks from worms, Trojans, botnets and other harmful attacks.
"Our platform's on-demand nature provides Stratos with the ideal solution to help manage security for these networks," says Alert Logic CEO Michael Turner. "Regardless of their location, Alert Logic Threat Manager will help improve network safety and security.
Alert Logic announced earlier this month it was chosen by Guaranty Bond Bank to provide IT security protection for its network of 12 banking centers located throughout East Texas and Fort Stockton in West Texas.
