📅 June 13, 2005 - Internet consulting firm SiteProPlus.com (siteproplus.com) announced on Monday that it has launched a new service providing free Web site design and Web hosting, promising unlimited bandwidth and space.

The company's single hosting plan is available starting at $18.70 per month, with a one-year subscription.

SiteProPlus says customers are not obliged to buy the site designed through the service, and are allowed to test the design during a trial period. Customers describe the site they want during a consultation with the company's design team, and the team produces the site within three days. If the customer likes the site, they can purchase it as part of SiteProPlus's Web hosting fees. The package also includes a domain name.

"We've found that many customers would like to take advantage of our low-cost, high quality Web site service but simply don't have the time or skill set to design their own site," says Tony Berkman, president of SiteProPlus. "By offering this level of service we enable these customers to confidently purchase a Web site from us. Then, because they're satisfied with the quality of site they receive, they become lifelong customers and refer friends. It's a real win-win situation."
