Jun 20, 2005 : US Internet Launches Charity Program
📅 - Internet and hosting provider US Internet (usinternet.com) announced on Monday it has launched a nation-wide Web hosting charity program that offers free Web hosting services for all children-related non-profit organizations.
To qualify for US Internet's Children's Charity Web Hosting Program, charities must be a 501(c)(3) organization, according to the IRS, with virtual Web hosting needs requiring less than 50MB of storage. US Internet's dedicated hosting and shared hosting services are housed in its highly secure, state-of-the-art data center.
"Thinking beyond our own backyard, we decided to reach out across America and assist organizations that are helping children improve their lives," says Joe Caldwell, US Internet vice president of marketing. "We hope to help make a difference by continuing to be a good corporate citizen."
US Internet supports a variety of charities, including The Ronald McDonald House, Children's Cancer Research Fund and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities.
