📅 July 5, 2005 - Web hosting provider Site5 Internet Solutions (site5.com ) announced on Thursday it has appointed Adam Greenfield the company's first CTO. Greenfield will be responsible for Site5's technology and software development efforts, leading its recently-formed software development group, the Site5 Engineering Team.

Prior to joining Site5, Greenfield served simultaneously as project manager for the hosting control panel, "DSM" and as director of operations and technology for an Ohio-based data center.

He has an extensive background in Web hosting that includes serving as the project manager for the cPanel Web hosting control panel and server management platform. Greenfield has more than 10 years experience in hosting-related software development and systems administration.

"Although Adam's past experience confirms that he is one of the most credentialed individuals in the Web hosting industry," says Matt Lightner, CEO of Site5, "it's his ability to approach new problems with creative brainpower and productive critical analysis that we expect will drive Site5's culture of innovation well into the future."
