📅 August 10, 2005 - France Telecom (francetelecom.com) subsidiary Equant (equant.com) announced on Monday that it became the only service provider to achieve Cisco's (cisco.com) Channel Partner Global Commerce Specialization status, and received top ratings in Telemark's (telemarkservices.com) Managed Data Network Services Benchmarking Customer Satisfaction report.
To attain the Global Commerce Specialization status, Equant was independently audited and verified to offer global and centralized services in areas of order management, invoicing, agreements and product delivery logistics. Equant is a Cisco Gold Certified Partner in all major Cisco regions. Nine Equant solutions and services are Cisco accredited, including IP VPN, IP dial, VoIP, Internet direct, Internet VPN, intrusion detection, multimedia VPN, application infrastructure provider and ValueNet. In the 19th release of Telemark's report, Equant received a gold rating for secure data transfer and geographical reach. In total, the company was given 11 "best in class" titles and 11 ratings of "excellent" across various categories.
