📅 August 17, 2005 - Data center operator and managed services provider Peak 10 (peak10.com -> flexential.com) announced on Wednesday it had signed a new customer in RollCall Business Conferencing, a division of ILD Telecommunications (ildtelecom.com), a business process outsourcing and conferencing solutions provider.

Through the agreement, Peak 10 will provide the infrastructure and facilities to host ILD's conferencing services platform from its data center in Jacksonville, Florida. RollCall's conferencing technology provides users with an audio and Web forum to access news with colleagues, customers and investors without the cost of face-to-face meetings.

"ILD is committed to providing our customers with a reliable and flexible conferencing product," says Fred Lloyd, senior vice president and head of ILD's RollCall Conferencing division. "We selected Peak 10 because of the flexibility of their people, network and their ability to meet our infrastructure needs including stringent redundancy and recovery requirements in a state-of-the-art data center environment."

ILD is a privately held company that provides business process outsourced solutions, operating network facilities and call centers in Dallas, San Antonio, Atlanta, and Jacksonville and Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

The announcement comes off the heels of last week's opening of Peak 10's second data center in Tampa.

The 15,400 square foot data center brings the company's total Tampa data center space to more than 30,000 square feet.
