📅 August 17, 2005 - PriceRunner (pricerunner.com), a ValueClick (valueclick.com) comparison shopping engine, announced on Wednesday it has reached a distribution partnership with Web hosting provider FortuneCity (fortunecity.com -> dotster.com). Under the agreement, PriceRunner will provide comparison-shopping solutions for Web design and hosting solutions provider FortuneCity.com, and online photo album MyPhotoAlbum.com.

"We are excited to offer PriceRunner's comprehensive shopping comparison engine to FortuneCity's network of almost 4 million active Web hosting and photo service users," says Martin Andersen, GM of PriceRunner, US. PriceRunner will power a fully co-branded comparison shopping solution for the FortuneCity.com network of sites. FortuneCity members and new visitors will be able to find prices on thousands of products, browse from numerous consumer and professional product specifications and reviews, and review the performance of various retail stores

For MyPhotoAlbum.com, PriceRunner will enable members to compare prices and product information on relevant photography products directly from their personal online photo albums. The services are currently being developed, and are expected to be available to FortuneCity members by the end of August.
