📅 September 8, 2005 - GeoTrust Japan (geotrust.co.jp), a subsidiary of GMO Hosting & Security, and provider of Internet security solutions and certification authority services, announced on Thursday it has launched its new certification authority ASP services, True Credentials and True Credentials Express.

The Web-based client certificate issuance and management service is designed for businesses of all sizes. The new service is intended to make security enhancements such as digital signing and anti-phishing protection as painless as possible.

The service protects users against phishing by using client authentication to stop unauthorized access and digital signing to confirm sources.

The certificate issuance and management service also uses email encryption to protect businesses' proprietary information and individuals' privacy.
