Through the program, OpSource will provide ISVs with a complete SaaS infrastructure, including a 100 percent uptime guarantee, basic system monitoring and access to 24-hour technical support. During the initial six-month incubator period, the services are available free of charge. Treb Ryan, CEO of OpSource, says the program helps software vendors remove the financial barriers of building out their own SaaS delivery infrastructures.
"SaaS is clearly the wave of the future in software delivery, evidenced by the surge of new customers we've signed on in recent months, as well as the increased attention SaaS is receiving in the analyst community," says Treb Ryan, chief executive officer of OpSource.
To qualify for the OpSource SaaS incubator program, companies must have annual revenues under $1 million and be in the beta stage of devleopment. The software application must run on one of Windows Server 2003 or Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
