Interested individuals can register for the webinar here, while eligible SaaS companies can participate in the survey here.
OpSource has conducted SaaS industry surveys in the past. The 2008 edition of the industry standard SaaS survey targets software developers and publishers who are currently selling SaaS products in the commercial software marketplace.
In order to qualify for the survey, which features 75 to 90 questions about SaaS, at least 50 percent of the company's revenue must be derived from sales of SaaS systems and services.
Chapman will then present detailed analyses of the results in his presentation at "SaaS University: Marketing, Sales, Infrastructure and Finance Conferences, 2008" (softletter.com/pages/market_and_selling_saas_agenda.shtml) in San Francisco on October 16.
Earlier this year, OpSource held its third annual SaaS Summit in San Francisco, California, designed to help SaaS, on-demand and web companies optimize their success in the web software industry.
