Dec 12, 2005 : Web Host 8 to Infinity Adds ASP.NET

📅 December 12, 2005 - Web hosting Provider 8 to Infinity Pte Ltd (8.to ) announced on Monday it has enhanced its Windows Web hosting by adding ASP.NET 2.0 support for its new range of Windows-based shared and dedicated hosting servers.

"The recent release of ASP Dot Net 2.0 allows for much greater power and flexibility for our Windows users," says Lim Boon Chuan, chief technical officer at 8 to Infinity. "As our company has been following the development of ASP Dot Net 2.0 closely, we are able to be one of the first, if not the first in Singapore to offer such support."

The free offering is a standard feature on all new Windows virtual server plans and is offered as an option with dedicated servers. The company says many of its developer customers have already expressed their interest ni converting to ASP.NET 2.0.

8 to Infinity is based in Singapore and provides offers Linux, Unix and Window 2003 virtual and dedicated hosting.
