📅 - Web hosting and application provider E Solutions (esnet.com -> wowforbusiness.com -> hostinger.com) announced it has acquired Genuity's Tampa assets in the wake of Genuity's bankruptcy and subsequent acquisition by Level 3. The acquired Tampa assets nearly double E Solutions' data center capacity
Genuity had occupied a 9,060 square-foot, multimillion-dollar build-out on the seventh floor of Tampa's Park Tower. E Solutions acquired Genuity's assets from the building's owner, Sterling American Property, signing a long-term lease for the space.
E Solutions has occupied Park Tower's 16th floor since 2002, when it took over space initially constructed by Aperian for $10 million. The floor houses the company's existing 16,000-square-foot phase one data center and administrative operations.
"The expanded capacity and capabilities of the new phase two data center will not only allow us, as a company, to reach out to larger organizations in need of colocation and enterprise-level hosting services," says E Solutions CEO Richard Nicholas, "but will also support economic development in the Tampa Bay region as a whole by ensuring the infrastructure is in place to support the major corporations that move into the area."
