📅 - Managed security service provider Perimiter Internetworking (perimeterusa.com) announced on Wednesday that it has acquired Breakwater Security Associates. The financial details of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 1996, Breakwater provides risk management solutions, including managed security, consulting, compliance and regulatory guidance. The company has more than 500 clients and multiple national offices.
Perimeter says Breakwater is the seventh company it has acquired in the past two years, the continuation of an acquisition strategy designed to assemble talent, technology and scale.
"The acquisition of Breakwater Security extends our national reach and provides us with a strong base of business to expand on along the West Coast," says Brad Miller, CEO of Perimeter Internetworking. "Breakwater is the leading security services provider in the Pacific Northwest and we are thrilled to have inherited their strong brand identity and reputation."
Earlier this month, Perimiter announced that it had acquired security firm Red Cliff.
