📅 February 21, 2006 - Web hosting provider The Great Hosting Company (thegreathostingcompany.com -> hostedtoday.com) announced on Monday it has launched its new Web site. Customers can now purchase Web hosting plans through an automated billing solution powered by 2CheckOut (2checkout.com).

TGHC says it can accept online payments via Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover, Diner's Club and JCB credit cards. Customers are automatically emailed their receipt upon purchasing a Web hosting, reseller or dedicated server account. An hour later, TGHC sends out a "welcome email" that details how to access and use their new plan.

The company's services include its Web hosting plan for $5 Canadian per month, reseller plans from $15 per month, dedicated servers from $250 per month, and domain name registrations from $19.95 per month.

Owned by Bishmore Holdings, TGHC is a new Internet company based in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada that offers affordable Web hosting services.
