📅 - Web hosting provider Hostirian (hostirian.com) announced on Monday it is offering advanced monitoring at no charge with its dedicated server plan, which employs the Dell PowerEdge SC 430.
Through the new offer, customers receive $600 per year in server monitoring service for no charge. The service includes monitoring and notification for physical attributes such as disk space, processor utilization and temperature and application monitoring of Web server, SQL, SMTP, POP3, SSH and FTP. Notification is available via email or to a mobile device.
"We have been concentrating on supporting the needs of our complex Web hosting clients and the associated required infrastructure and customer service tools for so long, that we felt it was time to expand our offerings to the dedicated market," says Steve Szachta, Hostirian VP of sales. "Our abundant and redundant systems architecture, coupled with a customer focused experience with personalized support, delivered with the low cost dedicated server promotion has proved very popular."
Provisioning takes less than two hours, says Hostirian, providing customers with fast access to their new servers. The company also offers clients low-cost monthly licenses for a variety of Microsoft applications including SQL and Managed Exchange, as well as services and options such as Direct Admin Web control panel, Urchin, backup and OS management with Patch management.
