📅 - Web hosting provider Hostirian (hostirian.com) announced on Tuesday it has completed the expansion of its Westport, Missouri-based data center after successfully selling out the first four phases of the center. The expansion follows its recent acquisition of space and connectivity at a downtown St. Louis Carrier Hotel.
To maintain a consistent carrier class environment for the expanded colocation area, Hostirian had to upgrade its conditioned power availability, adding air handlers and enhancing switching fabric. The company says clients can purchase rack space by the U, half or full racks while they are available.
The first four phases of Hostirian's data center expansion have been leased by local St. Louis, regional Midwest and national content providers, online multi-player gaming and sports platforms, hosted VoIP providers, off-site enterprise applications, search engines and other Web hosting providers.
"By focusing on personalized attention to the unique service requirements of complex hosting architectures, developing customized cage and trunking and connectivity solutions and maintaining superior uptime credentials, it goes to show that clients reward great service by buying out our previous footprints," says Hostirian VP Steve Szachta.
