📅 - Web hosting provider Hostirian (hostirian.com), a division of River City Internet Group, announced on Tuesday it has opened its third data center, in St. Louis, Missouri.
The 27,000 square foot Tier 1 facility will compliment the company's two other St. Louis data centers. RCIG says the new data center will give the company one of the area's largest carrier class facilities with immediate available space.
"The demand for quality colocation space for both production and disaster recovery initiatives continues to grow," says Peter Esparrago, RCIG president. "This new data center will allow RCIG to continue to expand our business continuity planning offerings. In addition to having a robust network, power and cooling infrastructure, this facility will have office space, voice and data connectivity and workspace for companies to utilize during a disaster."
RCIG says it is also planning to open a fourth Missouri data center in Kansas City later this year.
