📅 - Hosted email and Web portal solution provider IceWEB (iceweb.com) announced on Thursday that its IceMAIL service's online ordering and billing system will be powered by SWsoft's (swsoft.com) PEM Solution for Hosted Exchange. PEM is a data center automation solution that enables service providers to completely automate the provisioning and operational billing processes associated with offering hosted Microsoft Exchange services.
IceMAIL allows small businesses to share email, calendar and contact information from anywhere with Internet access and without the expense of owning, maintaining and hosting in-house email servers. IceWEB customized the PEM solution to include the option for adding wireless SmartPhones and PDAs, inbound and outbound faxing and data archiving.
The PEM system enables customers to view billing history, change billing options, add and change mailboxes and manage optional services. New accounts are automatically created and customers can start using IceMAIL immediately.
"PEM's unique ability to deliver a flexible online storefront and provide instant provisioning, billing, and management interfaces will help us manage our expansion goals," says Stacy Dinter, director of marketing for IceWEB. "In addition, PEM's flexible architecture will help us launch new services on the same platform in the near future."
